The University of Surrey is an international university with a worldwide reputation for excellence in teaching and research. The university offers students a unique combination of excellent academic standards, high employment success and a prime location in beautiful surroundings, yet with London only thirty five minutes away. The university is easily accessible from either Heathrow airport or Gatwick airport. The university offers an international welcome week where students can become familiar with the campus and the surrounding area. Surrey also offers a range of pre-sessional courses for student who have not quite met their English language requirements for their chosen courses. These pre-sessional courses are also available for students who have met the grade requirements and would like to acclimatise to the UK before their main course begins. Our undergraduate and postgraduate students experience a first-rate working environment and a lively social life.

Surrey has over 5000 rooms to suit all budgets and needs. All our Courts, as they call the halls of residence at Surrey, are self-catering with shared kitchen facilities, except for the studio flats (band F) at Manor Park. Almost all rooms are single, although we also have 86 split-level shared rooms (called duplex rooms) in Stag Hill Court, and 40 studio flats at Manor Park that are suitable for couples. All students who are beginning their studies in 2014 are guaranteed campus accommodation during their studies.
