Speaking Only Level 2
Speaking Only Level 2 is exactly what the title suggests; no frills, simple books, and certainly none of that awful grammar that you have probably had to study previously, this is it; speaking only.
This class is designed to get you to speak. More likely than not you have studied English for a long time, yet you find it difficult to string a sentence together. Why? No, it’s not because you are bad at learning languages. You are reading this aren’t you?
That means that you can understand the language, the main issue is that you haven’t had a chance to practice speaking and are therefore terrified at the prospect of speaking to a native speaker.
What am I going to learn?
Below is a day to day overview of what sort of things you learn in Speaking Only Level 2.
Let’s learn to talk about things you do every day. In this lesson you will learn about daily routines and frequency. You learn to say when and where you have your meals and the use of public transport.
Where we left of on Day 1, you continue to learn how to use public transport. You learn how to describe transports in your town. At the end of this lesson you are able to ask and to say how you go to work or to school.
What do you do in the weekends? This lesson teaches you to describe your weekend routines. Also you learn to ask and tell about what you do in weekends. After this lesson you are also able to use ‘so’ and ‘because’. It helps you to express reasoning.
This lesson teaches you to describe actions you have done in the past. What did you do last week? Your teacher will teach you some extra vocabulary and some hints, tips and tricks to make speaking English a breeze. As extra this lessons comes with teachings to make requests to someone.
This lesson teaches you everything about how to ask and say where people were. It also teaches you to say where you were. At the end of this lesson you are able to express yourself more and you have learnt to reply to requests.
Where did you go? What did you do? Did you like it? In this lesson you learn to talk about things you did or saw. At the end of this lesson you are able to tell what you have done, what you liked or disliked about it.
Today you learn to talk about places. You learn to say what you saw and what you did. You also learn to say what you did not see and what you did not do. At the end of this lesson you are able to explain an event, what happened and what did not happen.
Time for a break and time to go on holiday. In this lesson you learn to ask where people went on holiday, what did they like and what they saw. You will also learn to talk about the weather and what you did on holiday. By the end of this lesson you are able to explain what you did on holiday and to tell what your next holiday is all about!
Today you learn how to ask about a holiday or a business trip. You also will discuss and tell your experience about hostels in your surroundings. At the end of this day you are able to plan a visit and to book a business trip.
In this lesson you learn how to invite someone to go out. You learn it in various ways. For example face to face or over the telephone. At the end of this lesson you are able to invite someone out, talk about a specific happening and share good information with your friends.
This lesson teaches you to tell someone what you are doing. You also learn to ask what other people are doing and learn to ask for more details.
Let’s go to that new place. In Today’s lesson you learn to describe a place you want to go next. You also learn to make suggestions and recommendations. After this lesson you are able to tell where you want to go next and give your friends good recommendations.
The teaching of today is all about learning to tell about people’s lives. You learn to tell when people were born and died. After this lesson you are able to tell people when things happened in your or others lives.
We are almost at the end of Speaking Only Level 2. Today you learn to say what you or people did in their lives. You also discuss some important events in your own life. At the end of this lesson you are able to talk about your own life or the life of others, what did they do?
This is already the last lesson of Speaking Only Level 2. Time flies when you are having fun! Today you talk about what you have learnt. Your teacher will also recommend you where to go from here. Your teacher will provide you with hints, tips and tricks to get the most out of your English Classes!
